Julie Story

Graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  Received a Master of Business Administration in 1995 from Pittsburg State University.  After graduation went to work for Lomas Mortgage in Dallas, Texas in their commercial loan accounting department.  Returned to Pittsburg and went to work for First State Bank and Trust as Internal Auditor.  Held several positions with First State Bank including Controller and Vice President of Operations and Compliance Officer.  Held the position of Vice President of Retail Operations when First State Bank sold to Gold Bank in 1999.  After 16 years in banking I left to work for a locally owned computer consulting company as their Vice President of Operations.  After two years I returned to banking at University Bank as Loan Officer.  I now hold the position of Chief Financial Officer with University Bank.  Married to a fellow Pittsburg State University graduate Doug Story.  We have two children, Matthew and Aliee.

I am originally from Greenfield, MO.  In 1979 I moved to Pittsburg.  My banking career began in 1980 and I now have over 32 years banking experience.  I began working for University Bank in April 2012.  I am married to Robert and have a daughter Amy.

I am a lifelong Pittsburg resident.  I graduated from Colgan High School and received a Bachelor of Business Adminstration in Accounting from Pittsburg State University.  Prior to working at University Bank I worked at a couple area businesses in the accounting department.  I began working at University Bank in January 2008 in the Loan Adminstration department.  In February 2013 I added Loan Processing to my duties.  My husband Keith and I have three children, Jennifer and her husband Jason, Stacy and Eric.  We also have two granddchildren, Jordan and Jayden.

I have been with University Bank since August 2011.  I began as a part time teller before being promoted to the Loan Department as a loan processor in February 2013.  I moved to Pittsburg from Sedan, Kansas to attend Pittsburg State University.  I will graduate from Pittsburg State University with a BS in justice studies and a minor in fraud examination.  I currently live in Pittsburg with my fiance.

Raised nearby in Girard, I began attending Pittsburg State University in 1995. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Graphics, followed by an MBA, my husband, Shannon, and I chose to start a family. Looking for a job that would allow me to spend more time with my children, I began working part-time as a teller here at University Bank in 2007. I was promoted to Loan Administration in 2007 and continue to fulfill that role, with the addition of Treasury Services in 2011.

Michele has been with University Bank since February 2007.  She began as a teller before being promoted to the Loan Department in September 2007.  She processes and maintains consumer, commercial and real estate loans.  Michele moved from Carl Junction, MO to Pittsburg in 1997 and lives here with her husband Fred and children Zack, Austin, Lane and Maggie.

I am a graduate of Pittsburg High School, Class of 2004.  I attended Pittsburg State University earning a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance graduating in May of 2008.  I started working for University Bank in August of 2012 as a Customer Service Representative.  February 2013 I began working in the loan department as a Mortgage Loan Processor.  I currently live in Pittsburg with my husband Chad and our son Bryce.

Samantha graduated from Northeast High School in 2004. She attended Pittsburg State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management and Marketing. She began working for University Bank in November of 2008 as a full-time teller. In June of 2009 Samantha became the Branch Manager of University Bank Arma. She became the Marketing Coordinator and she was named AVP of Marketing for University Bank in January of 2011. Samantha added to her duties in March of 2013 when she became the Retail manager for University Bank.  Samantha resides in Arma with her husband Chris.

I have been a Pittsburg resident since 1987 and I graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1998.  I attended Pittsburg State University and received a B.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in Case Management in 2002.  I began working for University Bank in 2002 as a full-time teller and in 2005 became the Teller Supervisor.  I'm married to James Clark also of Pittsburg and have a son named Jensen.

I am originally from Girard, Kansas and have lived in Pittsburg for eight years.  I began working at University Bank in January of 2010 as a teller.  I recently transferred to the Customer Service area.  I spent several years as a real estate and insurance agent, and also in advertising sales.  My four children are grown and I am a proud grandmother of five.

In 2008 I graduated from Baxter Springs High School.  I started working for University Bank in May of 2011 as a part time teller.  Shortly after starting I was offered a full time position.  In April of 2012 I was promoted to Customer Service Representative.  I recently purchased my first home in Pittsburg with my husband Bryan.

I have previously worked at University Bank from July 2001 to June 2009, starting as the Receptionist and leaving as the Vault Teller.  Recently, I rejoined University Bank as a full time Teller.  I am currently working on my BS in Human Resource Management at Missouri Southern State University.  I reside in Frontenac, Kansas with my husband Michael and son Zeke.

I am a lifelong resident of Pittsburg Kansas and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 2004. I attended Pittsburg State University where I received a B.S. Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Resource Development in May of 2008. I began working for University Bank as a Part Time Teller in May of 2004. In 2007 I was promoted to a Customer Service Representative and in May of 2008 upon graduation from Pittsburg State I became a full-time employee with the position of Administrative Assistant/Customer Service and Human Resources Specialist.  I currently hold the position of Compliance Officer/Internal Auditor and Human Resource Manager.  I am married to James Spencer also from Pittsburg and have a son named Brodie.

I was born and raised in Chanute, Kansas, moving to Pittsburg in 1997.  I started working at University Bank, April 18,2002.  Prior employment was Administrative Assistant to the President of LDH, Inc., in Chanute, Kansas.  I have one daughter Lisa and one grandson Dylan, who is a junior at Pittsburg State University.

Janett Bourbina

I have been a resident of Pittsburg since 2002.  Prior to working at University Bank, I worked as a Sign Language Interpreter in the educational settings K-12 and Post-Secondary levels; as well as freelance interpreting within the Southeast Kansas Region for 15 years.  After the birth of our son in 2008, I decided to work closer to home.  I began employment at University Bank in January 2010 as a Teller and soon after was promoted with many additional duties.  I never thought I'd like an 'office job'.  Although, I miss interpreting, I realized quickly that I love it here!  I am married to Brad Bourbina and have two daughters and a son.

Vickie graduated from Northeast High School in 1971. Vickie began her career in banking in September of 1971 and now has 41 years of banking experience. She started working for University Bank in February of 2005 as a Customer Service Representative at our Arma Branch. Vickie resides in Arma with her husband John.
